Services

Four ways in, scoped to the work.

These describe the work; they are not packages you have to buy. The scope follows the business, the material that already exists and what needs to be made next.

  1. 01

    Positioning

“What should people understand, and choose us for?”

I work out who the business is for, what it should be known for and the few messages everything else has to carry.

    Usually produces

A sourced brief: audience, position and core messages, written plainly enough to use.

  2. 02

    Identity

    “How should people recognise us?”

I design the mark, colour, type and image rules, then the applications the business actually needs.

    Usually produces

A wordmark or mark, colour and type, image rules and the applications we scope together, with editable source files.

  3. 03

    Brand & Build

“How do all of those decisions reach the public?”

Strategy and identity carried through the words, a responsive website and the launch pieces, by the same person.

    Usually produces

Positioning and identity, website copy, a responsive website and the launch assets agreed for it.

    Ask about Brand & Build
  4. 04

    Care

“Who keeps the work useful after launch?”

Hosting and domain responsibilities, small updates, technical maintenance and brand checks once the work is live.

    Usually produces

An agreed Care arrangement. What it covers, and how often, is set out in writing with you.

Also available

Website-only and specialist work.

Each of these can stand on its own or sit alongside a brand or website build. A smaller job gets a smaller scope.

  • Web design and build

The whole site, made from what's true about your business: designed, written and built. Your existing identity can stay.

  • Company profile documents

A credentials document — registration, project history, and equipment — built for businesses that need something to hand a client or a tender desk, not a website.

  • Social launch kits

A small set of on-brand announcement graphics, sized for WhatsApp Status and Instagram, pulled from the same brand system as the build.

  • One-pagers

A lighter credentials document for businesses that need something to send by email or WhatsApp before a meeting, not a full profile.

  • Logo design

A mark built from what the business actually does — not a template. Comes with source files, ready for a card, a sign, or a truck door.

  • Business cards

Print-ready cards pulled from the same brand system as your build or logo — a name and a number, done properly.

  • Brochures

A print piece held to the same discipline as the company profile documents: your own material, no stock photography, made to be kept.

  • Calendars

A branded calendar for the businesses that hand one to every customer each December — same brand system, print-ready.

  • Marketing account setup

Facebook Page, Meta Business Manager, Ad Account, Google Business Profile, Google Ads — set up once, correctly, so they’re actually usable when you need them.

  • The Care plan

After launch: hosting and domain responsibilities, small updates, technical maintenance and brand checks. What is included, and how often, is agreed with you in writing.

Questions

Questions, answered plainly.

If your question is not here, ask it in the project conversation.

Can we begin with the identity we already have?

Yes. The first conversation is about what is already working and what the business actually needs next. The work can begin with the identity you have, rather than starting over by default.

Can you build a website without a rebrand?

Yes. If your identity already works, I can build the website around it. Biggy Smallz Spitmasters and Izanolihle Roads are website work built around their existing brands, and Ukuthula Community Development’s site is built around its own supplied logo.

How are costs worked out?

Costs are quoted after the scope has been talked through: what needs making, what material already exists, and what the work needs to do. There are no published fixed package prices.

How is timing decided?

Timing depends on the material available and the scope agreed together. It is discussed as part of the project conversation rather than promised as a standard duration.

Can we work together remotely?

Yes. The project can be worked through remotely, with conversations and material shared online. The right way of working is agreed at the start.

What should I prepare before getting in touch?

Bring what you already have: a plain description of the business, the services or products, existing words or visual material, useful links, and the contact details people need. It is fine if that material is incomplete; the conversation starts there.

What does Care mean?

Care is what happens after launch: hosting and domain responsibilities, small updates, technical maintenance and brand checks. What is included, how often, and how it ends are agreed in writing before it starts.

Send a short brief. I read every one myself and reply with the next useful question. Nothing is booked or charged by getting in touch.
